The role of the Collection Manager
The Collection Manager has a rhythmic schedule. They ensure the coherent launch of one or more brands, while respecting their identity.
He begins by monitoring fashion trends according to seasonality. Once his ideas have been defined, he draws up a collection plan and controls the production process. He chooses products to optimize development costs, monitors orders, ensures delivery of materials and validates prototypes.
The collection manager coordinates and supervises several specialized teams in the fields of creation, development and sales. They brief the product managers, with whom they work closely from manufacturing to distribution. Communication teams play a vital role in the apparel business. The salary of a Collection Manager
A junior collection manager can expect to earn between €28K and €35K a year. Depending on experience and seniority, a collection manager's salary can quickly rise to €55K gross per year.
