The Luxury Goods industry is the jewel in France's global crown, accounting for over 30% of our stock market index. Luxury goods alone account for nearly 200,000 jobs in France, and a million direct and indirect jobs in the fashion industry.

Luxury goods retailing has undergone major changes in recent years, adapting to counter the emergence of "pure players" and keep pace with customers' new communication and consumption patterns.

This emblematic industry deploys a vast, finely meshed network of boutiques, corners and showrooms to distribute its products to individual and professional customers in France, abroad and in digital form.

Ever more beautiful points of sale are theatricalized to offer a consumer experience whose importance equals even that of the product. Increasingly digital, this 'phygital' experience brings the best of both worlds, perfecting the journey and continuity of the relationship.

The new issues of sustainability, logistics and ever-faster delivery, the strengthening of links between physical stores and e-commerce, the evolution of payment methods and personal shopper or concierge services are at the heart of the challenges faced by our brands and luxury groups as they strive to offer an ever more accomplished service.

For all students with a passion for business and human contact, the ISAL Bachelor's degree is a springboard for employment or further study towards positions of high responsibility.
