Introduction to fashion design courses 

This 3-year program is offered by the ISAL PARIS fashion school. During these intensive, discovery-filled years, you'll be trained in fashion and luxury product design. Working alongside expert teachers who are active in this idealized industry, you'll strengthen your skills in design, textiles and pattern-making. A solid knowledge of the industry is essential for working in a top-level company. Fashion culture (trends and techniques), plastic arts and applied arts are among the subjects on offer.

The development of students' creative personalities is the guiding principle of learning at ISAL PARIS. They can enrich their knowledge through a wide range of exercises and bridges between courses and programs. Taking into account market and marketing constraints, they will design their own brand identity.

Professional integration is a real asset for Bachelor of Fashion Creation and Design. Each year, an internship enables students to prepare for entry into the job market, put their know-how into practice and come face-to-face with the realities of the sector. They accumulate almost a year's experience throughout the program.

After the Bachelor's degree, fashion and management enthusiasts can continue their studies over a 2-year period by joining one of the following schools Mastères proposed by the school:

  • Master of Marketing and Strategy,
  • Master of Fashion and Luxury Management,
  • Mastère Communication Et Marques.

Joining the ISAL PARIS fashion school means taking a technical, comprehensive and professional training course. The curriculum is divided into 3 levels, the equivalent of 3 years of study.

First year : courses offered during the year: introduction to fashion creation, introduction to fashion design, fundamentals of fashion history, cross-disciplinary skills.

Second year : we move on to the second level with more technical subjects. This is the practical application of the training acquired in the first year: fashion creation, fashion design, fashion culture and cross-disciplinary skills.

Third year : after 2 years of forging your own model-making and styling cultureThe new course titles include fashion professions, brand communication and cross-disciplinary skills. Your Bachelor's degree culminates in the production of an end-of-studies fashion show and presentation of your Brand Collection".

Thanks to this Bachelor's degree, you can develop and realize a concrete professional project. After 700 hours of coursework per level of study, you will have been able to develop your skills in styling, pattern-making, sewing, textiles and design. To enroll at ISAL, admission is decided on the basis of an application file consisting of :

  • a curriculum vitae (CV),
  • a cover letter,
  • a photocopy of your passport or identity card,
  • high school diploma and grades (equivalent to Bac)
  • last diploma and transcript, if different,
  • a creative portfolio (Moodboards, Drawings, Photos, Silhouettes)

Once we've received your complete application, we'll contact you to arrange an interview to assess your motivation and skills.

Following the interview, the admissions department will give you a reply within a week.
