The luxury industry is the flagship of France's image around the world and accounts for more than 30% of our stock market index. Luxury alone represents nearly 200,000 jobs in France, with a million direct and indirect jobs in fashion.
Luxury distribution has undergone significant changes in recent years and has adapted to counter the emergence of “pure players” and keep pace with new modes of communication and consumption among its customers.
This iconic industry has an extensive network of stores, corners, and showrooms for distributing its products to private and professional customers in France, abroad, and online.
Sales outlets are becoming increasingly attractive, designed to offer a consumer experience that is just as important as the product itself. Increasingly digital, this ‘phygital’ experience brings the best of both worlds and perfects the customer journey and continuity of the relationship.
New challenges relating to sustainability, logistics, increasingly rapid delivery, strengthening links between physical stores and e-commerce, evolving payment methods, and personal shopper or concierge services are central to the challenges facing our luxury brands and groups as they strive to offer ever more sophisticated services.
For all students passionate about business and human interaction, this ISAL Bachelor's degree is a springboard to employment or further study leading to positions of high responsibility.
