Professional training contract: Objective
The professional training contract is a training contract alternating between fixed-term and permanent contracts. The objective is to obtain a diploma, title, or professional qualification.
Contract duration
12, 18, 24 months (depending on the program) in the following format:
4 days in the workplace / 1 day in class
Depending on the contractual provisions and the nature of the training undertaken. minimum 150 hours and a maximum of 25% of working time, increased to 50% for certain sectors.

Target audience
The young people aged 16 to 25 inclusive, as well as the job seekers aged 26 and over.

Benefits for the employer
- Hiring assistance:

Funding for professional training contracts
The OPCO (Skills Operator) for the sector defines its rules and conditions for covering training expenses, in accordance with sector agreements.
Compensation for this type of contract
It depends on age and initial qualification level.
Industry-wide agreements may provide for higher remuneration by paying a percentage of the gross minimum wage or the gross minimum wage under the collective agreement.
